Glossary of Terms:
'FT' refers to Faulty Towers (ABN: 193 816 283 81)
'Customer' refers to You, your agent, the Receiver of Goods, or any person/corporation/entity that has agreed to supply of Goods.
'Goods' refers to parts installed, including complete systems, upgrades and individual components.

General Terms
Prices subject to change without notice.FT reserves all rights as a computer sales and service agent.All trade-marks and logos are copyright to their respective owners.FT reserves the right of typographical errors for product descriptions, specifications and prices.

Invoices and Payment
All invoices are to be paid within 7 days of issue. Standard Operating Procedure is to send your invoice to you in PDF format via email. Unpaid invoices older than 1 week will begin incurring late fees of $10 per week. Cheques will incur $5 administration fee.

Refund policy
No refunds will be given, unless strong reasons according to Fair Trading legislation and only within 7 days from purchase date. Deposit will be forfeited if no pick up within one month from order. Goods exchanged/refunded must be in original condition and all packaging must be returned. Any products returned may incur up to a 50% restocking fee.

Ordering
Systems & Parts Ordered must have a 50% (non-refundable) Deposit.

OEM Products
OEM Products can only be purchased with new hardware components and/or systems.For detail rulings, refer to OEM supplier/manufacturer or, ask your FT sales rep.

Warranty
Please make sure you retain your official FT tax invoice for any purchases of goods or services. Not retaining your invoice can lead to warranty difficulties.
FT Standard warranty is one year return to base warranty, unless otherwise stated.We honour manufacturer's warranty period. (Most components have 12 months manufacturer warranty).We honour / pass any warranty terms and conditions from our supplier onto the customers.Warranty will not be covered if any products are physically damaged or misused.Warranty does not include software issues or loss of data. Any parts returned for warranty that tests 'ok' may incur $30 testing charge.CD Media has no warranty unless manufacturer defects can be approved. That usually happens when manufacturer recalls their products.If customers choose to install/assemble any FT products themselves, FT will not be responsible for any failure that may occur to those products due to incorrect installation, or by not following installation guidelines recommended by the product's designers. FT recommends a trained technician (preferred at FT) should install any hardware purchased from our store.
FT is not responsible for any possibility of VOID of warranty from its original manufacturer once customer decides to leave their equipment(s) to FT for repair or service.
FT may charge a testing fee of $5- $30 to customer (just like our suppliers do to us), if an item deemed to be faulty is in fact working properlyFT always recommend good backup practise. Under any circumstance, FT will not be responsible for any software, data or hardware problem while we carry out repair or service work.

System / Monitor warranty
All new systems include a 1 year parts & 1 years labour (Return to Base) warranty. All monitors have manufacturer's warranty, most of them are on-site (or pick up and return) warranty.LCD screens are allowed some 'dead' pixels in the display before being classified as faulty (as instructed by some manufacturers).

Notebook warranty

All Laptops/Notebooks have a 12 months Return To Base (RTB) warranty unless stated otherwise. All Laptop/Notebook batteries are subject to battery warranty terms usually 3 months (RTB).LCD screens are allowed some 'dead' pixels on the display panel before being classified as faulty. Detail guideline varies from each manufacturer.

Battery Warranty
All batteries covered by manufacturers warranty only. (mostly between 3-6 months)

Force Majeure
FT is not liable for any loss caused to the customer by reason of strikes, lockouts, fires, riots, war, embargoes, civil commotions, acts of God or any other activity beyond FT's control.

Uncollected Goods
The Disposal of Uncollected Goods Act 1967 covers inspection, custody, storage, repair and other treatment of goods. Under this Act, uncollected goods may be sold six months after the date on which they were ready for collection.

Retention of Title
The goods title and property of Faulty Towers until fully paid and other monies cleared.
